Providence Health & Services Administrative Coordinator in Seaside, Oregon


Providence is calling an Administrative Coordinator (1.0 FTE/Day Shift) to Providence Seaside Hospital in Seaside, OR.

In this position, you will:

  • Provide full administrative support at a high level of responsible and of a confidential nature for the Clinical Division of Nursing.

  • Coordinate department purchases, billings, various special projects, and flow of work through Nursing Administration. Initiates production and distribution of nursing forms, archival of department files and records, staff reimbursements and travel requests.

  • Develop and maintain filing and other organizational systems.

  • Prepare meeting materials and coordination of meeting scheduling and arrangements.

  • Work with other department and education to complete the work of the department.


Required qualifications for this position include:

  • H.S. Diploma or GED

  • Training in administrative support skills obtained in business school or equivalent experience

  • 5 years of work experience preferably in the industry, which includes 3 years of administration office support experience

  • Experience using a personal computer and software including word processing, spreadsheet, graphics, and publication software in a Windows environment

Preferred qualifications for this position include:

  • College level coursework in Business Administration

  • Experience with Internet/Intranet web site development and Internet/intra net publishing including share point services
