Providence Health & Services RN - Quality Management Coordinator in Seaside, Oregon
Providence is calling a Registered Nurse - Quality Management Coordinator (1.0 FTE, Days) to Providence Seaside Hospital in Seaside, OR.
This is a full-time role, working Monday - Friday. Qualified candidates will have the specific experience and skills listed in the requirements section below and, in addition, will be someone who is used to working and thriving in an autonomous role, is detail oriented, has phenomenal prioritization and organization skills, and loves to multi-task. This role has the unique opportunity to deal with all things quality within the hospital! About Providence Seaside Hospital:
Nestled between the Pacific Ocean and the Coast Mountain Range, Providence Seaside Hospital is the heart of the Providence Health System's North Coast Service area. This 25-bed, critical access hospital (with full accreditation by the Joint Commission) serves a resort community and the surrounding area with services including Intensive Care/Coronary Care, Emergency Services, Diagnostic Laboratory, Birthing Center, CAT Scan, MRI, Physical/Occupational Therapy, Ultrasound-vascular and obstetric, Chemotherapy, Echocardiography, Mammography, Home Health, Extended Care, and more.

In this position, you will:
Provide assessment, evaluation, and support for all quality initiatives within Providence Health & Services (PHS) Oregon.
Provide concurrent and retrospective support managing initiatives to comply and in accordance with Center for Medicare and Medicaid requirements, The Joint Commission (TJC) requirements, administrative and program personnel, and third party payors.
Actively work with physician leadership, directors and managers in the development and implementation of quality efforts, including preparation, risk monitoring and reduction in clinical and non-clinical systems, and coordinate multidisciplinary quality improvement projects.
Act as a facilitator and mentor for department teams related to performance improvement.
Authorize and make decisions on recommendations and innovative solutions.
Serve as a resource and consultant for Quality Improvement activities and Professional Staff quality and peer review activities.
Assist in development and performance of educational activities as related to Quality Improvement, accreditation requirements and Resource Utilization.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Bachelor’s degree in nursing
Current unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) Licensure in the state of Oregon
5 years of hospital experience in a progressively responsible position requiring contact with various departments is essential
5 years of acute medical-surgical nursing experience
Demonstrated evidence of self-motivation
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Master’s Degree in Nursing, Public Health, Business, Healthcare or Business Administration
5 years clinical experience required. Adult medical surgical experience
